Inframark will operate the city's drinking water and wastewater treatment plants, distribution, and collection systems.

The City of Blanco, Texas, has awarded a multi-year partnership for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure operations to Inframark LLC, an operations, maintenance, and municipal infrastructure manage company.

The partnership will delegate the operations for Blanco’s water treatment and wastewater treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, and other public works functions. The project commences on March 1, 2022.

“All of Blanco welcomes Inframark as a member of our community,” said Mayor Rachel Lumpee. “We have been impressed by Inframark’s reputation and plan of action. Water is vital to the health of our community, and we believe Inframark’s team will join us as a good steward of this precious resource.”

The addition of Blanco builds on the company’s significant presence across the state, where it manages more than 300 water and wastewater facilities.
